In April 2005 I gave birth to twin boys. My Diabetes Insipidus and Acute Fatty Liver of Pregnancy had not been diagnosed. Consequences: I was left with a 50-50 chance to make it through my first night, one of my sons was severely brain damaged and was not expected to reach a week old and my other son had a good chance to be brain damaged too. I created this site so families who have experienced AFLP have a place to look for answers, advice and someone to talk to. This site is in memory of my son Micah who is now with the angels...
